Capture & Analysis Software
Online User's Guide |
DigiView Logic
Analyzer hardware combined with the included Capture & Analysis software,
provide numerous features to assist the engineer with various logic design
challenges. A summary of these features are listed below:
|
Serial Signal
Analysis
- Asynchronous (RS-232/485) Serial Signal Analysis with
specialized Searching for Frame, Parity and Baud rate errors and sequential
data.
- SPI Serial Signal Analysis with specialized sequential
searches.
- I2C Serial Signal Analysis includes specialized
exporting and searches for each portion of the I2C protocol (i.e Repeated
Start, Slave Address, Master address, etc.) and error conditions.
- General Synchronous Serial Analysis with sequential
searching on data values.
- All Serial signal types have specialized exporting and
tailored List views.
- PDK available for fully integrated custom data
interpretation.
- Any channel can be assigned to multiple serial signal
definitions.
Data
Compression
- All DigiView models use Real-time hardware compression
to maximize sample storage in hardware buffers.
- Compression operates at full sample rate on all
channels.
- Models DV3100, DV3200 and DV3400 use multiple Auto
Switching compression techniques to achieve even greater capture times during
fast logic transitions (not just during "idle" periods).
. |
Timing Analysis
- All channels assigned to a Signal definition are
displayed by the Signal name in several distinct views. These views are the
Graphical Waveform Displays, Table or List windows, Trigger Configuration
Editors, Search Editors and Export windows.
- All views can be "Time Linked" to different link groups
which synchronizes the point of interest and allows for easy comparative
analysis of separate points in time.
Capture
History
- Each project can be configured independently for saving
captures to a local history on disk.
- The entire history can be searched Automatically using
any defined search.
- Captures in the History can be Bookmarked, Browsed and
Animated.
Other
Features
- Add descriptive signal identifiers
- Auto-snap & repeat Markers
- Graphical Hardware Trigger Configuration
- Save multiple Hardware Trigger Configurations
- Halt Analyzer from Auto Search definitions.
- Halt data save from Auto Search definitions.
- Save JPEG images with comments
- Multi-Signal Data Tables
- Quick Select, Drag & Snap markers
- Save/load data and settings for later analysis
- Split View Graphical waveform display with Zoom and
Scroll
|
The included software has extensive navigation and
search capabilities with a very user-friendly, intuitive design.
Even
complex Trigger configurations can be graphically expressed with a few clicks
of the mouse.
Need to Decode Serial Communication signals
(RS-232, SPI or I2C)? DigiView Hardware and its included software
provides specialized decoding and search functions for these high level
signals..without any additional cost.
